We perform contract machining thanks to a technologically advanced fleet of machines and an experienced and highly skilled team. From the raw material, we can deliver the finished part, complete with heat and surface treatments. We start from the drawing or 3D model and deliver the fully finished part. What distinguishes the fleet of machines SCS in mechanical machining
In contract machining, control, precision and quality are required, achievable only with state-of-the-art machining centers and machinery. SCS’s fleet of machines can cope with complex and advanced machining, managing to reach and meet the Customer’s requirements with reduced processing times.
Our machine park consists of the most modern 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC machines, as well as unconventional systems such as die-sinking EDM centers. This is to achieve high-precision mechanical machining that faithfully meets project characteristics and customer requirements
Precision contract machining
The contract machining performed meets high standards of quality and precision, obtaining mechanical components that perfectly meet the Customer’s requirements and the characteristics highlighted by the project.
These are the machining operations we perform:
Milling
The mechanical milling department is the company’s production core, with a large fleet of state-of-the-art machines. We have 3- and 5-axis machining centers for roughing and finishing removals on parts with a maximum size of 3,000×2,500 mm.
Milling at the finishing stage results in high-quality parts that conform to the design in size and surface roughness.
drilling
Deep drilling machining is carried out thanks to 3 drilling centers that enable us to obtain parts with horizontal, cross and inclined drilling. The removal of different materials in the drilling process allows us to obtain through and blind cylinder machining with the highest precision.
The drilling department allows machining up to a diameter of 40 mm for a length of 1,450 mm.
Turning
The turning process is used to make precision small parts and high-detail mechanical machining using software-programmable numerical control machinery.
The turning department consists of 3 horizontal CNC lathes that enable us to turn mechanical parts up to Ø 250 x 1,400 mm.
EDM
EDM machining allows very high precision machining that cannot be achieved by milling and turning. EDM is widely used in the aviation industry and for machining materials with high physical, mechanical and thermal properties.
The EDM department has 2 plunge plants with tank dimensions of 2310x1330x800 mm.
